As a child of God in the marketplace, you will always be surrounded with different kind of temptations. One of those temptations is building your business according to the world's wisdom and motivation. They show you the hustle-until-you-die formula, forgetting the very chance to have peace and rest. Clearly, business in the Kingdom of God is totally different from the world's state-of-the-art way of doing business.
But here's the thing.
The awesome part of doing business with God is you don't have to make things happen on your own. You don't have to make the blessing happen on your own. You don't have to exert so much effort to fully persuade a potential client to work with you just so you can have the buck.
Your mind is free from pressure and stress, thinking that even if they sign with you or not, the Lord knows how to send the right people. The Lord knows how to bless you beyond your own understanding. The Lord knows how to take care of you.
You have so much freedom that you are not focused on selling anything at all but you're focused on serving as if doing it without any condition. Because, truly, you have set your mind to work for the Lord initially anyways. Therefore, excellence and resilience are your top most attitudes.
Doing business with God is not only about praying for what you desire to receive as a reward for your hardwork.
No Ma'am.
Doing business with God is knowing that just like any other ministry in your church, it is equally necessary in the body of Christ as your form of worship and service - fully giving out yourself for the work the Lord that has entrusted to you - not for your own selfish gain but for His glory.
May our perspective towards doing business as children of the Most High be translated into knowing that we exchange every single effort for much eternal things rather than the currency we were accustomed to.
That stewarding a business for the Kingdom of God highly requires the move of God and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
That receiving clients does not solely depends on worldly strategies but on our deep relationship with Him who imparts heavenly strategies - thus helping us to just FULLY depend on Him (not on our own abilities, skills and logic) but really TRUST Him with all our heart, not leaning on our understanding which gives a great assurance that whatever venture we navigate, we shall prosper and be victorious at the end because we were called to and anointed for it...
...and that He's faithful to sustain us abundantly as we focus on obedience rather than income.
